Hyperliquid (HYPE) Enters Hashdex Crypto Index ETF as Fifth-Largest Asset
Hyperliquid's native HYPE token has secured a 3.4% allocation in Hashdex's Nasdaq CME Crypto Index ETF, entering as the fund's fifth-largest holding. The rebalance trimmed Bitcoin's dominance in the index to make room for the high-performing perpetual DEX network. Institutional basket inclusion signals a major leap in traditional finance exposure for the on-chain derivative giant.
Hyperliquid has officially cracked institutional portfolios after joining Hashdex's Nasdaq CME Crypto Index ETF with a 3.4% weighting. The allocation instantly positions HYPE as the fund's fifth-largest asset, vaulting past veteran blue-chips like Cardano, Chainlink, and Stellar.
To make space for the newcomer, the index trimmed Bitcoin's dominance from 78% down to 74.6%, while Solana's share pushed up to 3.7%. The shift underlines a growing institutional appetite for high-throughput layer-1s driving real revenue.
Trading near $81.76 with an $18.3 billion valuation, Hyperliquid continues to capitalize on strong perp trading volumes and yield-backed token buybacks. ETF index inclusion now cements HYPE as a serious institutional liquidity magnet.
