XRP Sellers Retreat as Exchange Inflows Hit Record Lows Ahead of August

XRP exchange inflows on Binance have dropped to record lows while withdrawal activity reached multi-year highs. The on-chain metrics confirm clear sell-side exhaustion, though weak institutional demand and historical August seasonality could cap near-term upside.

On-chain data shows XRP sellers are stepping off the gas as monthly exchange inflows to Binance dropped to a record low of roughly 3.6 million tokens. Exchange withdrawals simultaneously accounted for over 55% of all Binance XRP transactions, marking the heaviest supply removal share since February 2021.

This structural shift across centralized exchanges indicates holders are pulling supply into private storage rather than preparing to liquidate. While a net drain on sell pressure creates a fertile backdrop for buyers, institutional inflows remain minimal with under twenty million dollars entering dedicated products throughout July across quiet trading sessions.

Seasonal trends also present a hurdle, as August historically stands as XRP's flattest month with minimal average gains and four consecutive years of red closes. For buyers to capitalize on the supply vacuum and spark a sustained move upward, spot demand will need to return in force and absorb seasonal volume lull.
