XRP Spot ETFs Record $110M Weekly Inflows as Institutional Demand Decouples From Market Slump

Institutional buyers absorbed $110.49 million into XRP spot ETFs last week, marking the product's largest weekly capital haul of the year. The massive influx occurred despite a 7.8% drop in XRP spot prices, pointing to aggressive institutional accumulation during market weakness. Total assets across XRP funds reached $1.44 billion as trading volume hit new record highs.

Institutional capital is flowing heavily into XRP funds even as spot prices trade in the red. Spot XRP ETFs pulled in a record $110.49 million in net weekly inflows, pushing total cumulative inflows to $1.66 billion. Total net assets across the fund suite nearly tripled to $1.44 billion in a single week.

The institutional bid stood out in sharp contrast against the broader crypto market. While XRP products absorbed fresh capital, Bitcoin and Ethereum funds suffered combined daily net outflows exceeding $300 million. Weekly trading activity across XRP funds surged to $363 million, marking the busiest trading window since these products launched.

This aggressive accumulation coincided with a 7.8% drop in XRP spot price to $1.38 after hitting resistance near $1.70. Institutional desks appear to be actively scooping up liquidity into price dips rather than chasing breakout tops. If this structural bid persists, the institutional absorption sets up a firm support floor for the token.
