Bitget Launches Reality Platform for Tokenized Stocks and ETFs, Boosting RWA Push

Bitget just dropped Reality, a licensed platform for tokenizing real-world assets like US stocks and ETFs. This move signals a major push into the RWA space, aiming to bridge traditional finance with crypto-native ecosystems.

Bitget is going all-in on tokenized real-world assets with the launch of Reality. This new platform brings tokenized US stocks and ETFs directly into Bitget's ecosystem, breaking down geographical and market hour barriers for global users. It's a direct play to integrate traditional finance into their Universal Exchange (UEX) roadmap.

Reality issues rTokens, which are 1:1 backed by real shares held by a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. They're touting transparency with live Proof of Asset dashboards and CPA audits. The platform claims deep liquidity and institutional-scale access, with corporate actions like dividends seamlessly handled.

This isn't just about offering new assets; it's about utility. Tokenized equities can be used as unified account margin, boosting capital efficiency, and integrated with Bitget's algorithmic trading and lending products. It's a strategic move to solidify their position in the RWA sector and fulfill CEO Gracy Chen's vision of 10% of financial assets being tokenized by 2030.

Bitget is positioning Reality as its dedicated RWA provider, aiming to standardize traditional market value for the crypto economy. This launch follows their existing offerings in tokenized gold, FX, and commodities, further expanding their UEX strategy beyond pure crypto trading.
